Feijoada is a very traditional Brazilian stew made of black beans, sausage and all the tasty bits of pork. Making this stew at home will most definitely call for a special trip to the butcher’s, and it’s worth placing an order ahead of time to be sure that you are able to get everything you need. And for a traditional Brazilian spread, serve feijoada with white rice and collard greens.

It is really beautiful and authentic! But my mother doesn't use the ears and feet – uuurgh! She only cooks the salted beef, ribs and the sausages.. hmmm I love feijoada! I missed one thing in the recipe: you don't show how to make the "toasted manioc flour" our Farofa. please show!!

Oh yeah this looks very authentic and very delicious. Congratulations!
Some versions of this dish, like we make it here in Sao Paulo, don't serve the meats and beans separated. Personally, that's how I like it better, beans and meats together.
Either way, you can't go wrong with Feijoada.
