DESCRIPTION

One of Brazil’s most popular street food. Pastel AKA Meat Pie and Empanadas, but not only meat you can literally make it out of anything. It’s perfect for all your left overs. A hit on every party! Make this for an appetizer on your next party and get ready for amazing compliments to come your way.

* INGREDIENTS * I used for the dough
3 cups of Flour
1 tbs Salt
1 tbs Vegetable oil
1 tbs Vodka or Cachaça if you have!
1 tbs Vinegar
1 cup of Luke Warm Water
To fry I used Canola Oil
* For the filling make it of anything you like. Including your left overs from previous cooks.

    What is up my people! As you can tell Angel's hair grows FAST! 😂😂😂 This video was filmed in the beginning of the year, however I never got to edit it. But seemed a perfect timing as I had lots of meat left over from thanksgiving. Hope you enjoy it.

    In Dominican Republic we call'em "yanikekes" or "yaniqueques". We always load'em all with a lot of cheese, meat as well, and pretty much with whatever we want at the moment, they're delicious👌🏽

    empanada in Brazil is a different thing, it is dry and like a tiny cake that breaks then melts in your mouth, we just call that what you made pastel, and it is sooooo good * q*) altho we don't use vodka nor cachaça in the most common ones, but it might taste really nice
